Elder scrolls online imperial edition

Wow,im sorry guys but I cannot agree with the above games stated being actual mmo's, and then lol,defiance again another wmo,let alone rpmmo,the basics starcraft,wow,rift,I need not go on,where hundreds and hundreds of people are fully interacting on a server
doing something ot other,that has never ever been done, all the above games mentioned are arcade games with lots of people imo.

DC UNIVERSE a fighting game.

Final fantasy a weapon farming game.

Defiance a complete mess of a game,lol.

 

And @unreal,yes m8,guild wars 2 , perfect,more exspensive because of no fee,but a proper mmo all the same,sz so much to read.

Huh? DC Universe is a MMO, FF is a MMO, StarCraft not a MMO it's a RTS. EQ was on the PS2 and definitely a MMO (although that version was dumbed down.)

 

I disagree, Defiance was no perfect but was good . Had a lot of issues when was released but mention me an MMO that did not. I don't expect TESO to be free of bugs...Learned a lot from Defiance =-). Just hope the Alpha/Beta and testers do their work right
this time , so the game be released without major bugs , at least.

Im a old time mmo Vet, I took off a few years becaue I would rather sit on my couch and play games then at a computer desk. I have played from darksun, to UO up to warcraft and DnD online. Its been about 4 years since I last played a MMO.

I have no problem paying ht emonthly fee, Its how MMO's have always worked.

The chatting with a mic does bother me and I am hoping they impliment keyboard or a chatpad use. However I hav a feeling it will be via smartglass.

 

In game shops ruin the dynamics of the game to a greater extent. Id rather die from that guy who wasted three months of his life to get the items in a legitimate fashion than from the guy who bought some item chest (or other container) from the in game shop.
The thing about MMOs that appeal to a large mass of gamers is that there are very few DLCs out there for it. Expansions, yes, DLC, rare (we can argue about the difference but id rather not). If a game introduces a in game shop later on there is often a huge
exodus of gamers. Prime example: Runescape.

 

I played the beta 3 times by luck I guess and each time I can't tell the game was improving, however my computer isn't top of the line so I know for xbox one the game will be smooth for all players. I will be honest at first I was excited then when I played
it my excitement went down but now its going way back up. The game feels and looks better now and the cyrodil battles are amazing. Idk if the imperial edition is worth it but I like the statue and the book and the imperial are my favorites so I might go for
it. I believe the game will be good, time will tell and a month is enough for people to judge it.

 

Also check the angry joe pvp gameplay video review, the recent one not the old one like a week or 2 ago. You can find him in youtube. It might change your mind about the game in a good hopeful way, it did with me. See you in tamriel guys for xbox one guys

I thought Defiance was good, whether it's an MMO or not is irrelevant in my opinion, it was used as an example in this thread for being free to play with a shop to enhance the experience without taking anything from the core game, it worked well,

If Elder Scrolls Online was the same I would buy it day one, it looks very good to me, but I also do not like the monthly sub, I'm on the fence just now.

 

I am going to give it a try, I will probably be done in a month, nice thing about being old and retired!

 

I pre-ordered from GAME last month, but it didn't give me the date i would receive it, anyone know?
