Elder Scrolls Online (console version) is COMPLETE GARBAGE

I've played EVERY Elder Scrolls game since way bay to the good old days of DOS. I really wanted to like this game game,but long queue times and more than frequent server disconnects, along with a premium price tag ($60) make this game a total ripoff. Fix
the *** server problems already !

Hopefully, the next Elder Scrolls game goes back to it's roots and redeems the franchise. There are better Free-To-Play games available.(All without all the server issues this game has)

Elder Scrolls Online is garbage.

You should try reinstalling the game. Or if you redeemed your code while in the app that may be the reason. Same thing happened to my brother the other with Nba 2k18 He had to sign out and sign back in. and then reinstalled the game it worked fine after
that. I hope this helps.

So, I bought Elder Scrolls, then had to buy an Xbox Live membership. But, after doing that, I kept getting looped to the purchase screen for another Xbox live membership. I probably have to sign in again, somewhere, but I am already signed in on my first
membership. Cannot access the game or any Xbox Live options. I was charged nonetheless.

I'm stuck with a garbage Xbox Gold membership (active for 2 more weeks) that is supposed to allow access to a $50 game that won't start unless I purchase additional Xbox Gold memberships.

 

I'm beginning to agree with you as I sit here and stare at a screen that's telling me that the North American servers are down for maintenance....AGAIN!

 

I was also disappointed when the servers were struggling to cope with the load, but since the patch last week I think the reliability and response of the European servers is definitely better than before.

Would be interested to know if you now find the response better and with shorter wait times overall?

 

Play European servers on the daggerfall covenant it'd the best place to get lag free and no loading screens

 

Servers will be taken down for maintenance on games like this you have to get over that. They always give warning when they are going down for maintenance and when they do it is normally for 2 to 3 hours of work.

Like Shugga said though, since the patch Ive not had any issues connecting or playing or getting booted, and im on the North American servers.

 

Since I posted this I have gradually grown to like (not love) this game. The server issues haven't gone away, but at least they have improved.

This game still has a slight generic MMO feel to it, but I can live with that. At least until the next REAL Elder Scrolls release anyway.

 

Not having any server issues whatsoever...smooth as glass, and no lag. Do you have a open Nat on your router settings? Did you open the ports MS & Zenimax recommend for playing ESO with interruptions?

Sorry to say this but what else did you expect, roll on the haters and all but this is an MMO. I appreciate that if your only a console gamer you may not have run into games with server maint but this is the norm for any game of its type..

You will never avoid it.

Regarding lag, well I'm running around with 2x full groups of people beating on reds and blues with no issues other than sound lag.

I personally feel that they have done a great job with this on console and hopefully roll on similar genre games to the Xbox.

I agree.. I would say my experience is 9/10 for game play. Runs great. Awesome game.

 

I have had some server issues but nothing else. Very well done game and it's my first MMO in a long time. Last one was Ultima Online.

 

3 days now, either can't login at all, or get booted within minutes...or seconds of getting in. Their "support" is a complete joke, and they apparently have no intention of fixing this, since they've had the same problems since the PC launch, with no fix.

 

Well I have had pc and xbox now with no issues.

Is it during pvp on general open world?

 

What did their support tell you, since your blasting them for being a joke.....

like AGN asked, when are you having these issues, in PVP or in the regular open world game, cause its kinda wierd when everyone else is getting online and playing other then when the servers are taken down for maitenance...
