Elder Scrolls On-Line Tamriel Unlimited - Who is jumping in?

Well it looks like eso will continue to have one of the better gaming communities around then. Or so I've heard.

 

You got that right Argontheos, although I have been playing M for Mature rated games since 7/8 years old (and never once been traumatized by them), you get the point, the ESRB (North America) and PEGI (Europe) are in business for a good reason. There are
games where either it may not be appropriate for the younger gamers and/or the game is just too violent for them (GTA anyone). So you can expect me to be a much better parent when raising kids than my parents did with me.

BTW I have moderate to mild interest on Elder Scrolls Online, I'm sticking with Neverwinter from now.

 

I'm out of the MMORPG phase. I played World of Warcraft for over six years and was excited to try NeverWinter on the Xbox One but got burnt out on the MMORPG formula rather quickly. I'll pass on ESO.

 

Neverwinter is horrible in comparison.

 

I will be playing it. I love the game on PC. I will be starting fresh on XB1 though. If anyone playing wants to add me, that would be great. I just got my a new XB1 and don't really have any friends yet.

 

I am thinking still of pre-ordering The Video Game on Xbox One.. The Imperial Edition.. I just hope it will be a great game because my friend Eddie told me it will be the best game for him and he highly recommend the game to me.. I also did watch a Video
of Elder Scrolls V Skyrim and Elder Scrolls Online PC Opening Gameplay.. Actually it is not bad, But like I said, I really do hope myself that I will like the game.

 

I have finally decided I am gonna get it. Going into town after work to pre order it

 

So there's an "Imperial Edition" for the ONE.

Does this mean that Imperials are a locked race that you have to purchase seperately if you don't buy the "Imperial Edition"?

 

Eh I mght get it was a fan of oblivion.

 

So to answer my own question the only way to play as an Imperial is to buy the Imperial Edition or purchase the "Virtual Upgrade".

So "Imperial" doesn't appear as a race to purchase in the store.

To be honest I'm not sure if I find this encouraging or not.

 

Since I'm playing Dragon Age I'll respond appropriately...

Heh ha. I'm inclined to agree, I am, I am. I'm Henry the Eighth I am. I was talking about it with my brother and there's a degree of eff-ery going on of late. We were talking about TESO's vaguery, but I said,
hey at least we've got Arkham Knight coming this month, and I was reminded of the pre-order, bundle, bonus, exclusive, elusive, non-conducive, inconclusive DLC shipping with that awesome looking game at launch. It tends to take some of the awesome
sheen off.

The base RRP for TESO is fairly high and yet content is being whitled and patterned into something else to pay for. Or as bonus somethings. I'm curious to know what this changeable entity is going to be, going forward. Is it charge an army of gamers full
retail early and make it all FTP later, while giving those early adopters some nothing content as compensation, nothing content equal to a "Imperial Pack"? Is it that?

I think I'll sit up here, on this cool mountaintop for cool people, and I'll watch what happens with my cool-o-vision. While gripping hold of my money with the cool-o-grip-o-uncertainty. =)

 

Now that there is no monthly fee. I am in!

 

Gonna try and grab it on the 9th if there are any copies left at the store. I've watched a few videos of people playing the beta and it looks like a game I'll enjoy.

 

Im on the fence ive never played an online multiplayer game before...do i HAVE to join a guild? go along with others ect? Im a lone gamer im guessing i wouldnt enjoy this kind of game?

Its not cheap enough either just to give it a try...

I have played morrowwind, oblivion and skyrim

 

Bought it, installed it now waiting for the 15 gig update to install. There are story quests for solo gamers Inked Angel if you wanna lone wolf it.
