Elder scrolls Oblivion Remasted Hangs on Faded Map on launch

Did you install Elder Scrolls: Oblivion Remastered with Steam or the Xbox App?

This is a common problem with the current release of this game, so I doubt it has anything to do with your hardware specifications.

Try to launch the game by setting Compatibility mode to Windows 7 and running it as an administrator.

You can do this by right-clicking on "OblivionRemastered.exe" in the game installation folder, selecting Properties, then going to the Compatibility tab and set it to Windows 7 from the dropdown menu, and click OK to close the Properties window. Then, right-click on the "OblivionRemastered.exe" again and click Run as Administrator.

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered was never on Game Pass Core. The game is only available on Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass.

Either, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion or The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

Well "Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim" starts with an "E", while "The Elder scrolls IV: Oblivion" starts with a "T". Simply put, the games are not referred to as Oblivion and Skyrim in the listings.
