    I bought elden ring on the Xbox One S a few days ago and played it for about an hour, but when I have been loading it again it just wont load into the game and the progress bar wont budge. I can still cycle through the helo tips by pressing a but nothing else. Is there anything I can do to solve this issue.

    Which troubleshooting steps you have done so far to fix this problem? In that way I can advise you different things or how to proceed

    In the meantime tell me, do you have the game installed on the internal drive or do you have it on a external hard drive?

    https://support.xbox.com/en-US/help/hardware-network/console/turn-console-on-off
    Press the Xbox button  to open the guide.
    Select Profile & system > Settings > General > Power mode & startup.

    Under Options, select Full shutdown or Restart now.

    After the full shutdown, I recommend waiting 30-60 seconds then power it back on. Once it's on, wait for everything to load and then open the game.

    If that doesn't work, then try uninstalling and installing the game, you might lose progress but it could work.
