Ejects disk and powers on randomly

Ever since the last update, anytime I have a disk in the console after about a half hr is ejects the game. Even when the console is off at night and if there is a game in it, it turns on, ejects the game, sucks it back in and ejects it again. If I turn off
the Xbox it just does it all over again later. What gives?

This only started happening after the latest console update.

Sometimes disk drive start to spin at full speed!!!!!

Happened at least 10 times with an xbox360 S. Today for example i turned off xbox360 with a background download and the drive started to spin until i eject the tray. Happened also when i entered in xbox video with last dashboard. Inserted i have the battlefield
3 disc. It seems to happen randomly. I think an update can solve this. If you have a very big download the drive spin until the end. If you eject the tray the console turn off again.

When the disk drive start to spin the only solution is to eject the disk.

Same issues I have have been having. Called support again and I have to get it replaced

 

Try doing a hard reset on the console as follows. Hold the power button on the console for 10 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart the
console. Once it is back up and operational test for results. Let us know. Good Luck!

 

That did not work and it just ejected the game an hr into playing

 

Also, the system continues to chime/ding every few minutes while off

 

Mine also continues to eject, (sometimes as many as 5 or 6 times in a 10 minute span) and remain ejected, then will randomly insert and let me continue my game. One night it was over 50 times in 2 1/2 hrs! Get with the program Microsoft! Oh, btw, YOUR SUPPORT
SUCKS!

 

Seriously if I don't get an answer for this soon that doesn't involve paying money I'm switching to Sony.....I feel disgusted for saying so but I'm done with microsofts constant system issues. Pls reply a fix or I'm done
