Eject a disk when the console is off

    Eject a disk when the console is off


    If I press the eject button when the console is turned off, the console ejects the disk but put it back inside right away without turning itself on.

    Anyone with the same issue?

    mine too, i bought a disk. tried for 45 mins. turned console off, turned on, eject the disk.

    Never turn the XBOX off with gears 3. Always eject the disk if it freezes. If the disk won't eject then power off.

    That was the first thing i thought was the problem, so i disconnected the kinect. But Im still running into the same problem. Right now my console is off, but it still periodically "dings" even when off. And even earlier when it was off, it turned itself
    on to eject a disk. removing the disc seems to keep it from turning on, but it still beeps when off.

    I just pressed the button to eject the disk when the xbox turned off and then when i turned it on it didnt make the buzz sound hopefully that fixes it
