Either I am doing something wrong, or xbox one has made it a lot harder to stream music from a ...

So I went through all the steps to setup music app on the xbox one, made sure streaming was on, added the device on my pc (drivers not found, surprise there!) and went to my music folder right clicked and told it to play to xbox, nothing happened.

Why couldn't they have just kept the 360 way of doing this? I don't want to be sitting at my pc right clicking every song I want to listen to while I play, at least on the 360 it reads the folder and creates a play list for me and I can play it in the background
without any problems. For the one system I heard that once it starts to work you have to keep the snap app on the screen or the music will stop.

    :)

  2. Is it possible to stream from a Xbox Music on my Surface RT to a Windows 7 pc?

I have a Surface and a windows 7 pc but no Xbox. So I was hoping that I could stream music from Xbox Music app from my Surface to my pc (so I can play the music on my stereo). I have tried to figure out how to get my windows 7 pc listed in the Xbox Music
devices in my Xbox Music pass. Either this is not possible or I'm doing something wrong. Can any body help me out here?

    SO Its Impossible

To make a play list or add songs MP3s to the Hard Drive? Unless you purchase it from one of the music apps? I still haven't figured out how to do that either, from what I can see all you can do is by a one month pass to stream music, I can already
stream music from my PC so I don't know why I would want to buy a pass, all I want to do is add some tunes to my NHL13 IT has that option, just keeps telling me I don't have any play lists..

yes, at the moment the Xbox One does not play music in the backround you have to either have the Xbox Music on and snapped or if you listen on youtube.. etc. it has to be snapped sorry.
