Effects of region and language

Hi there.

On your phone, go to Settings/Language+Region and the one you want to change is Browser & Search Language.

You need to switch off and back on your phone in order for the changes to take effect.

Hey there Diego! Are you saying that the steps Major proposed aren't there, or you did them and it did not have an effect on the language? Also, is your account region a French-speaking nation? This may account for the language being set as such. Let us

@Damakibo - If you wish to change your account region for a more permanent state in Japan then you'll need to visit this page
here for that information. Please make sure to read the terms before changing regions.

Note: You'll get the game in whatever language your region's main language is. For Japan it should be Japanese if the game your downloading supports it, otherwise the default is English. Changing your console's language to English does not
effect Games on Demand downloads.

To get your game working in English, you need to change some settings on the Control Panel. Follow these steps:

1. Open the Control Panel (not the Windows 10/11 Settings app!).

2. Click the Clock, Language, and Region option.

3. Click the Change the display language link.

4. In the Choose a display language drop-down list, select the language you to use as the display language and click OK. Also change the region to United States.

5. Restart the computer for the new display language to take effect.

6. Check if Microsoft Flight Simulator is in English now.

If your Xbox LIVE account is set to a country or region that supports multiple languages (for example, Canada), you can change your Xbox LIVE account language. Here’s how:

1. Please visit this page here.
   
2. Sign in using your Windows Live ID.
3. If multiple languages are supported for your country or region, select a language from Preferred Language.
   
   Note The Preferred Language option does not appear if only one language is supported (for example, the United States).
   
   
4. Click Save.

It may take up to 24 hours for this change to take effect on your Xbox 360 console.

That should essentially change the tabs on the dashboard, but it's up to the developers of the games (for example, if you purchase a game from Games on Demand it would be in the native language not the translated language). This also effects games that are
purchased in your own country, it's up to the developer to make a different language option available in the settings of the game (unless they are only natively available in English).
