Edit Notes

I know we only have a short window to edit our posts. But I find it highly annoying that we are forced to write an edit note. Most of the time I am just editing a spelling mistake which could be as little as 3 letters, but you have to pass a certain character
limit for the "Edit Notes" in order to edit your post. And with most other forum sites when you do include an edit note, we can see it.. but we don't.. so what's the point?

lol yea they are annoying. I usually humor my self in the edit notes box. I wonder if anyone actually reads them.

 

I usually just put any letter there, you really don`t need any more than that.

I just put `info` in the edit notes

 

Not sure why its there, also not sure why its a big deal. Just type in one single letter and hit the Post button.

 

I always type in a view numbers.

If we would have unlimited time to edit it I maybe understand the edit note requirement.

 

@HaloJolly - I agree with you 100%.. I wouldn't mind putting in edit notes if he had all the time in the world to edit, like if you want to add something to a review you posted a couple days back.. but there is no reason for an edit note a few seconds after
you posted.
