Edge Video Streaming Freezes Unexpectedly

Good Morning

Until about a week ago I was able to watch Brit Box on my Xbox one through Edge browser for some reason it doesn't work anymore, I can get to the site see the video I want to watch but it goes on to buffering and that's it.

What could be the problem?

Not much you can do except wait for the website to adjust itself to html5 better

Thjs is typically why people rely on apps not streaming websites

You will always have buffering

You gotta remember that you mever hsve a straight line to the server over the internet

You could.be 1000.miles away but you gotta go thru 3 -10 servers before.you get their network

It worked for the last 6 month without any issues, I can watch it on my Laptop through Microsoft edge, can you explain why?

Unfortunately Microsoft doesn't offer an app for Brit Box.

I am not having any issues with my Series X console in terms of browsing and using the Microsoft Edge browser in streaming Youtube and other video streaming sites.

On the other hand, if I am using Microsoft Edge on my laptop or android phone, it can't also stream Discovery Plus.

You should be using the apps

The problem with your solution isn't recommended by any of the sites for consoles most of you Lr sites you mentioned have a app

With Netflix having an html5 site you will have to go to Netflix for troubleshoot and directions on the html5 website

Only sites that use html5 would that way

Anything using flash is ancient and not supported
