Edge start page

Discus and support Edge start page in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; Is there a way to change the start page and default search engine on the xbox 1 browser? I'd rather **** in my hands and clap than use bing.... Discussion in 'XBoX on Consoles' started by MOILER, Apr 8, 2017.

    Browser crashing

    My edge browser is crashing some pages ....Everytime I try to watch a video on a page it start but then crash...this is happening since the last update. Does anybody knows why or how to fix it?

    Having Log In Trouble For Microsoft Flight Insider Program

    I have tried this with the new Microsoft Edge browser (the Chromium Edge, not the original Edge).

    Start a new "InPrivate" browsing window. Open the settings (the three dot menu in the upper right), and under the Privacy settings, delete the recently stored cookies.

    Then try to access the Flight Simulator page, and sign into your Microsoft Account again.

    This time it should work. (At least it did for me).

    I finally figured out a fix!!!!

    it is to open the Edge client on your xbox, close any open tabs, and then press the Settings button on the home page of Edge. It will open a menu. Scroll this menu with the right stick and it will make the cursor disappear. While the cursor is invisible, press the Xbox button on your controller, press start on Edge client, close the program, and return to your game free of the cursor. Enjoy!!

    Microsoft Edge is Not Working Again

    After you factory reset and reinstalled your profile did you load up Edge only by itself?

    The reason for asking is I use Edge on console all the time and have not had the same problems you are having.

    When you open Edge does it load the default page?

    How many Tabs do you have open at any one time?

    I usually open about 4-6 and close them all before quitting Edge so that when I start it again it doesn't open previous Tabs that may take ages to load if left open.
