    Both the sites you mentioned are heavy with downloading plenty of images. My guess is, the browser is simply unable to handle the large amount of images that it has to render.

    Also,

    1. I use edge on a regular basis, but, really it's not the best browser out there. I have been a edge user like forever. Still, facts are facts.

    1. and you already know that edge on Xbox is not the actual edge. So, again, you are getting a downgraded edge on top of an already not so good browser.
    1. Comparing the Xbox to a) gaming PC b) Tablet, just makes no sense to me.

    To me, the curious thing is why force a console browser to do PC things. it's like trying to use a daily commute car on a race track. The daily commute car was simply not designed to be a racing vehicle, he he :p
