Edge keeps crashing for no reason

hello there,

I have a huge problem with the edge browser. It keeps crashing for no reason. Be it on facebook, youtube or google. Seemingly everything is too much for the browser, and i am forced to restart it. Or when i have more than one tab open it crashes or responds
very late to my input.

How can it be that one of the most successful companies of this planet can't develop a working internet browser. I mean your company is working on that dumbsterfire for more than 20 years, and it is still the worst browser there is. Half your traffic are
bots, and the other half are the xbox community who is forced to use it.

Why isn't it possible to discard it and let the community use actual working browsers?

I bet not even the employees microsoft uses that thing.

It will never be fixed. So please let us just use browsers like chrome or firefox. Browsers that actually work.

I really don't want to sound rude, but the internet explorer or edge is just pathetic, and it infuriates me to use it.

Even the standard browser on my 8 year old phone is 10x better than this.

Edge keeps crashing for no reason. I had no problems what do ever before this most recent update..

My Microsoft edge keeps crashing even when I'm just surfing the web this just keeps returning to the home screen every two minutes no error messages or anything and I only have this problem with edge all my other apps work fine

I'm sorry about this issue. Did you try to perform a full factory reset?

 

yes i have. The xbox is not the problem. Updates are not the issue...the browser is.

 

I use it almost everyday and I don't have the same issues so I'm not sure about that.

Did you try to open these ports:

Xbox One Network Ports | Xbox Live Network Ports

or to set a DMZ?

 

I doubt its just him, as edge is now crashing only a minute or so after opening, and this is a NEW occurrence, but not a newly installed OS, months old.

I did sfc /scannow and it found no problems.

WHy can't MS fix edge ?

If chrome and firefox can manage to have 'working' browsers, IN the context of windows 10 ENV, why does edge have so many problems working right ?

OP couldn't be more right, and IF I could delete it off computer ,permanently, I surely would as I don't know things,that don't work right, on my computer.

I really like windows 10, but this is nonsense.
