    Edge Instantly Closing After Opening on Xbox One


    Started three days ago. I was using the Xbox normally, and was on Edge when the guide froze and would not open (not a new problem), so I did a hard restart to fix it. When I turned the Xbox back on, Edge closed every time I tried to open it, sometimes taking
    a couple seconds (still without loading anything) and other times nearly instant. I have done hard restarts (push and hold for ten seconds), hard restarts with unplugging, and cleared the "saves" on Edge, but nothing has helped at all. Everything else I have
    used in the time since has been unaffected, it is for exclusively Edge that the problem lies.

    Since you've already unplugged the console for a small time (clears cache), I would first recommend looking for system updates and then finally, if nothing else helps, a factory reset keeping games and apps may fix this problem:

    Settings > System > Console Info & Updates > Reset console > "keep games and apps". (requires account redownload)

    If you're in the Xbox Insiders/Preview program please report the bug by holding the xbox button on your controller and go to "feedback" and report the bug, please. That could be a cause for this glitch, if you're on a preview dashboard.

    If you don't wish to have preview dashboards anymore, (if you do have them), you can unenroll in the Insiders app.

    That did fix it, thank you very much. Re-downloading everything was my main reason for not doing that yet, very nice that it is an option now.
