Edge crashing during video playback on xbox one

Discus and support Edge crashing during video playback on xbox one in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; since the update today my edge app crashes after about 3 minutes of video playback.     since the update today my edge app crashes after about 3 minutes of video playback. I have tried multiple hard resets and the problem still persists. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Video streaming quits on Microsoft Edge & internet browser

    Has anyone else had an issue where Microsoft Edge quits during video playback? I was watching an online movie today from a website I've been using for years when Edge suddenly quit. I cleared the Cache on my Xbox one and removed all history and checked the
    settings tab on Edge but nothing has solved this? I then downloaded a 3rd party app (Internet browser is its name off the XBO store) and tried the same website and video and yet again the video quits.....I have tried other sites and video too but this still
    happens.

    Is there a new feature in the latest update that stops you watching online content using Edge or a third party browser?

    Are you trying to watch YouTube videos through Microsoft Edge or some other content? It's possible the website you're using isn't fully compatible with the browser.

    Not sure if you have an update on this issue, but thought I could give you something that the XB team could test to see what I'm talking about

    If you test video playback on Xbox One using the Edge browser pointing to http://tv.emby.media

    Then try to play something that should direct play, e.g. an mp4 with h264/aac. It will crash the browser back to the dashboard during playback.

    The issue started happening with the creator's update

    Hopefully the issue has gotten someone's eye as I've seen several threads related to this issue now from several people when trying to stream using Edge on the XB1

    Try doing a hard reset by holding the power button on the front of the console until it turns off then unplug it from the outlet for 30 sec then plug it back in and power back on.

    edge keeps crashing while using facebook. it especially crashes when i view videos if i don't press B before the video finishes the Edge app crashes me back to my homescreen
