edge crashes when portal opens to log into wifi-xbox one

Whenever I try to connect to my wifi wirelessly the edge browser will open the page I need to enter my username and password for a split second and then crashes. Currently deployed and had no issues until the recent update. Before it would say "authentification
needed" after I select the network. Then edge would open up where I entered my username and password for the base wifi. After I entered that it would connect. Now it says edge wont open unless I'm connected to a network which I cannot do unless I log in through
edge. Went through microsofts troubleshoot and they had be reset my x box. Now im stuck on the setup menu because I can't connect to the wifi.

My streaming apps keep crashing!

I have YouTube that crashes when the window is open,Microsoft don't have a clue,but if I log on with another Xbox one it works,

 

Xbox One Netflix crash

Am I the only one who can't watch anything from Netflix?

When I open the app, it either crashes immediately, or when I log in to account.

If I manage to get to choose what I want to watch, press play, it crashes.

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. We will need to make it past the initial set up screen in order to find out if the factory reset helped the browser load. The only way to bypass the initial set up is to connect the console to a network.
This can be done with an ethernet cord plugged into the modem or gateway, or connect to a wireless network like a hotspot. Once the console has gotten past the initial set up, we recommend checking Microsoft edge to make sure it does not crash when opened.

edge opens when I go to the recreation area and use the open wifi. but when I used the network In my room to where I need to log in it still opens and crashes saying I need to be connected in order to use edge.

 

Hello Rick,

When you are in the recreation area can you try and connect to the other network? Also is the router something you have access to, the network you use in your room. May want to talk to who runs network see if a reboot can happen. Them sometimes are hard
to do, being a lot of different areas are connected.

I can connect to the other network via laptop or cellphone but not xbox one. I never had an issue until after the last update. it always worked on my x box before that
