If you're stuck on a black screen and are unable to get it to transition (wait at least 10 minutes on the black screen and see if it transitions) into your dashboard you may have to reset the console to factory defaults by accessing the "Troubleshooting
screen."

Depending on how recently your Xbox One console was last updated, you may be able to perform a Factory Reset using the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter. To see if this option is available on your console, follow these steps:

1. Unplug the network cable if you're using a wired network connection.
2. Power off your console, and then unplug the power cord to ensure that the console is completely powered off.
   
3. Wait 30 seconds, and then plug the power cord back in.
4. Press and hold the BIND button (located on the left side of the console) and the
   EJECT button (located on the front of the console), and then press the
   Xbox button on the console.
5. Continue holding the BIND and EJECT buttons for 10-15 seconds.
   
6. Listen for two “power-up” tones a couple of seconds apart. You can release the
   BIND and EJECT buttons after the second power-up tone.

When the console powers up, you will see the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter, if available:

some games do not work I have the start then a black screen, impossible to play.

I already had this problem but there with Red DEAD redemption 2 I can not play at all. The presentation then black screen and return to home.

My xbox one console is 18 months old, however, it is impossible to find the receipt ... how can I do that? does anyone have the same problem ????

Hi, prior to start the process for a reparation/substitution of the console I suggest you to make some other tentatives, because maybe the problem is not that big.

If you have verified that the internet connection is ok (the xbox became laggy/unstable if the connection does not work properly), my first suggestion is to make a power cycle / soft reset of the console to clean the cache:

turn off the xbox -> remove the power cable -> wait 10 seconds -> reconnect the power cable -> turn on the xbox and verify if the games are working correctly.

If the problem is not yet solved you can try to re-install from zero the games that are creating problems

Then you can try with an hard reset:

Open settings -> go to system -> console info -> select "reset" console -> choose "reset and keep my games and app" (try this first) -> wait until completion of the procedure -> try if the problem is still there

If you are still having problems, try the same procedure but instead of "reset and keep my games and app" choose "reset and remove everything" (keep in mind that after doing this you will ned to re-install all your games and
apps).

If it is just TDU2, you can check the
Screen Freeze solution, but I would also recommend you try the following:

• Delete the game
  
  1. From Xbox Home, go to settings, and then select System.
  2. Select Storage.
  3. Select the storage device that contains the content you want to copy, move, or delete:
     
  • Hard Drive: Your console’s hard drive.
  • Cloud Saved Games: Storage space on our Xbox LIVE servers. For more information, see Store your saved games in the cloud.
    
  • USB Storage Device: A USB storage device, such as a USB flash drive plugged into your console. To learn more about USB flash drives, see USB flash
    drive support for Xbox 360.
  • Memory Unit: A memory unit plugged into your original Xbox 360 console.
    
• Select the type of content that you want to copy, move, or delete:

1. 1. Select Copy, Move, or Delete.
   • If you're deleting content: Click Yes to confirm the deletion.

• Clear your system cache - 3 times
  
• Turn off your system
• Turn on your system
• Redownload the game
