    Eco mode after downloads end


    Everytime I have a big download in my queue I have to set my xbox to "Instant on" (Im still on 12mbits Xdsl) but my wish is to have "Eco mode" with turn off after download queue is emptied. Download will be processed during night which is much better for the planet you know...

    I'm surprised this option is not here already, oh and sorry but I didn't take time to look if someone proposed this feature already...

    XBOX WON'T TURN OFF

    Do you have the eco mode turned off? The xbox is designed to stay on in low power mode when the console is turned off. You have to go into the power settings and turn on eco mode which will power down the xbox fully when you turn it off.

    My Xbox One makes a clicking noise during use. I believe that it is due to something wrong with the fan or the hard drive. It usually happens when playing a game/blu ray or using Netflix. the clicking noise continues for approx 30 minutes then fades away.

    it could just be the hdd clicking, do you have the xbox on quick startup or eco mode if eco mode then it will most likely be the hdd uploading saves or data etc etc, that could explain the 30 min or so times, but if you worried contact support.

    I've got it completely off when not in use here as the ol' electricity is bloody expensive here in the UK and my family are struggling with bills as it is. As cool as being able to turn the box on via voice command and having a fast boot-up as it is I really
