Echoing on Mobile Xbox App

I see this is a very underrated topic, so I'll explain thoroughly.

I'm looking for tips to help reduce the echoing in party chat on the mobile xbox app. I have a tried a couple things already but just know I currently do not have an available working headset to use on my phone.

So far I tried:

Placing the phone on my bed or on top of my blanket

Wrapping phone with small pieces of clothing

lowering the overall volume

I had once thought I solved it by muting and unmuting myself.l, but the xbox app is extremely slow most of the time, sometimes taking 40 seconds to either mute myself or simply go to text chat 30-40 seconds after I did such thing. I'm sure that there's more solutions but I'm currently a little stressed on finding relief.

Party echo is usually caused by someone else having their headset volume too high...the mic is picking up the audio from the earpiece and retransmitting it back into the party. Look for whose mic indicator is flashing when the echo occurs, and have them turn down their headset.

One thing you could try is to change the headset and test it, if it's possible.

im not too sure what you mean by xcloud.. but the echo occur almost instantly when i enter a party chat

We would like to suggest a few other things to try in order to mitigate this issue down to what could be the cause of this.

Can you confirm is this is occurring through the Xbox app on a mobile phone as well?

Have you attempted to sign into a different account, if you would happen to have a different account to try?

Try these for us and let us know the results.

It's the Xbox Game Pass Mobile App and not the Xbox App, it's only available on mobile devices. Here you go: https://www.xbox.com/en-CA/apps/xbox-game-pass-...

This is totally wrong. There are quests on the Xbox Mobile App and the Mobile Game Pass App....prior to my advice above, I specifically checked the Xbox App itself and there were quests on there!
