Echo problem

^If that doesn't work, and you're using a headset, ask members of your party to turn down their volume. You may just be hearing yourself coming through their earpieces.

Are you using the Kinect to chat in party mode? If so then it is picking up all the ambient sounds including game play from the speakers. The console should have come with a headset. If you're not already doing so, try using that instead.

I own your own headphones the hyper x claud alpha, never had echo problems and are excellent headphones in its price range, I think the problem is in the audio adjustment if too excessive creates echo
you have to adjust it so that you will no longer hear echo

To fix the echo you should change mic because some of my friends had the same problem and they changed mic and now they aren't echoing

I have problems with them also, sometimes, but very rare they work fine for an hour or two if i'm lucky then, i have the most common problems, mic doesnt work, also a echo on everything you do. i mean you push a button everyone hears it. anyone talks echo...,
i mute my tv still echos, lower the game sound till i cant hear the game, echos. tried both my controls.
