    eBay Xbox One Stuck Updating at 66% / 86% - Insider Build?


    Picked up an xbox one original on ebay needing repair, saw it had e101 & no HDD. Picked up a 1TB hard drive, formatted it and set it up with xboxone-hddmaster (v9). Copied OSU1 to USB, plugged it all in and began the startup procedure, update then gets stuck at 66% overall (86% stage 3).

    I've tried using OSU 2 & 3, with no joy (E101 error) and factory reset usb hits 1%, screen flicker and beep and gets E101 too.

    I've noticed the OS appears to be: XB_FLT_2103VB\19041.6737.210304-1945 which after some googling appears to be an insider preview?

    Is there any way to fix this?

    I'm under the impression that OSU1 won't work as it's an insider build.

    Is waiting for an OSU1 that's newer than the current build the only option?

    hi morning....

    Xbox One S console update stuck at (Step 3 of 3: Applying) (66%)/ 86%

    Its been stuck like this for nearly 24 hours and still no progress and i done a hard restart and I turned it off and unplugged it for a couple of hours and it keeps on getting stuck at 66%/86%. I NEED HELP PLS.

    same here. Xbox was stuck a 66% for HOURS! i tried the hard reset and updating offline via USB and the Xbox is stuck again at 66% again updating with a USB stick!

    Xbox freezing up and games won’t load with unknown error code

    I think i fixed it, heres how. Turn off Console. Plug in USB with OSU1. Turn on console in troubleshoot menu. Start OSU. Wait for it yoy ger suck at 66% applying/86% done. Update Froze. Turn off console. Turn on in troubleshoot. Reser with games and apps.
    Update will pass 66%applying/86%done. Update finishes. Normal setup of console. Done??

    worked for me, for now anyway

    This is ridiculous. My XBOX One was stuck on 66% while applying the online update for hours. I decided to shut it off and cross my fingers. No luck. I got stuck on the loading screen. I have now tried a offline USB update and it is again stuck at 66%. Having
    to do a factory reset is not a solution Microsoft. Please don't ignore this issue Microsoft.
