eBay sellers selling all king of games preloaded in accounts

I've seen on eBay a lot of people offering " digital game downloads" but if you read carefully the description in a new account with the game preloaded on it to make matters worst some sellers claim they have any game you need loaded into an account ready
for you to load that account into the Xbox one I was checking one seller selling accounts with forza quantity 20 and it said he sold 17 in the past 24 hours !!! That's outrageous and plain wrong I doubt there is some legitimacy in all this , Im almost 40 years
old me and my friends love gaming things like make me sad , this is increasing by the day and if Microsoft do not take action this rash keep spreading and can hurt the industry we all love because all that money going to the pockets of this ppl in a. very
shady way and the trend seem to be increasing please Microsoft do something to prevent that not fair to the rest of us that buy the games the way it should be.

Xbox one digital games

I purchased games from sellers on ebay that the sellers have the accounts with the games on it ready to download and install well Microsoft just confirmed to me that some sellers are not genuine and are violating the terms so Microsoft have removed my digital
games purchased from a third party selling site. And they have proven my point that they want more money from people. So a huge warning please don't buy digital games from a third selling source and you may loose all your digital games just like i have.
I'm just an innocent buyer that Microsoft have taken my games now I'm out of pocket of money and games.

 

Xbox One Digital Games Preloaded on Another Account??

Hi guys,

I am an avid eBayer (actually work full time selling on eBay through my own company) and I am also an avid gamer on the Xbox One.

I have noticed recently that there are more and more sellers popping up on eBay selling digital games which seems to be preloaded onto another account. I reported them several times to eBay including even phoning through but kept hitting a brick wall and
nothing being done about it.

Anyways curiosity got the better of me and I went ahead and purchased Watch Dogs and Wolfenstien for £39. Seller sends over an account for me to download the games and I do so and they work, but it doesn't fell right to me. What if I need to delete the games
to free up space, the games never actually belong to me as they are purchased on another account?

I phoned eBay back up and get a full refund back and I delete the account that was supplied to me which I now no longer have access to the games (just as expected initially)

How does this all work, surely something is not quite right here. Seems really dodgy to me, got to be more to it.

*I am posting under an old account as I don't want any backlash from Microsoft through no fault of my own as I don't actually own the games and only initially downloaded them and deleted them after getting my money back from eBay.

 

You're right. This isn't legitimate. Unless you know the Xbox account of the seller, you can only report them on eBay.

 

We the people who love this industry for so long don't support this kind of business Microsoft need to verify every code to locate the source and erase the main account and the whole chain behind it is a big task but Microsoft got the $$$ to make it done
soon well that said the ball is in your court Microsoft DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS

I actually get nauseous when I see little people defend huge faceless corporations and get nothing out of it. Its sad,really sad. Are your lives so devoid of meaning that you need to take up the mantle of corporate hero for free? I lament the direction this
world is going in,I really do. I seriously doubt that any of you have no skeletons in your closest. These companies aren't dumb, they know , they have people who do the appropriate measure and they don't need self righteous do-gooders taking up the sword in
their name. Pathetic.

 

^^ Maybe the people who are against this practice enjoy their hobby? Perhaps they realize that these sort of transactions short change the people who actually make the game(s). It seems that every couple of months we hear of another game developer having
to close up shop. Are we really stooping to calling people "white knights" to those who are against stealing/thievery? Sheesh.

 

Regardless of your stance on piracy of any media, it is an illegal practice. I highly doubt any company, small or large, are going to object to people bringing a crime against them to their attention. What they really don't need is people stealing their
products or discouraging others to report crimes of which they are the victim of. What the rest of us don't need are childish bullies berating someone trying to find a way to uphold the law, pointing a finger at them, and shouting 'tattle tail! tattle tail!'.

^^ No one was requesting an apology. I was merely stating my thoughts in regards to why I perceived the OP (and others) were displeased about these transactions. By his last sentence, we're lead to believe that he (any many others that post here) thinks
that MS regularly checks this forum... which the regulars know doesn't happen.

 

I will admit , my tone was harsh and over the top . I just hate tattletales thats all. Dude needed need to make a thread about this in a nameless forum. As I said if he really was interested in fighting this kind of thing there are better measure you can
take and proper people to report it too. This to me, just looks like a "HEY EVERYONE LOOK WHAT I FOUND THEY ARE BAD I AM GOOD NO WHERE IS MY PRIZE" the prize being attention.

 

I used to sell software online and few things ticked me off as much as piracy. You're taking someone else's hard work and stealing it. I definitely appreciated it when someone would bring a site to my attention that was illegally running my software so I
could have them shut down.
