    Easy way to record DVR clips


    I've recently started using the Upload studio, Kinect and DVR functionality far more on the Xbox One. I'm really enjoying using this and have found its far more versatile than just recording quick clips. Just a quick tip that will help you capture your game
    moments without the game pausing, momentarily being taken out your game, missing the double tap on your controller or if you don't have Kinect to use the "Xbox Record That" command. Download the Xbox One Smart Glass App to your phone or tablet. Sync it with
    your console and have it open when you are playing games. The current game is displayed at the bottom of the app, tap and it opens up an option screen with a One Touch Record button. On tap and the game play is recorded.

    I find this really useful in fast paced games and FPS's

    End clip
    Pick how long you want to be recorded of past gameplay (5 minutes max)

    is there any solution to the game dvr recording clips even when then game dvr isn't slected to record clips

    "Record That" Without Kinect

    You can record clips without using the Kinect - simply snap the game dvr app, choose to start or end a clip, the amount of time to record (up to 5 minutes), then it records. It's easy! You can't record a voice-over or show a clip of your face, but the ability
    to record without the Kinect IS there. It actually surprises me how many people don't realize it.

    i've this issue too. tried to unflag "allow dvr record (blahblah)" and now i can record clips saying "record that". no success with dvr. my 2 cents

    Hey Jason!

    Thanks for reaching out to us today. Game clips on Xbox are recorded, edited, and shared from the Game DVR feature associated to the Upload Studio app. The Upload Studio app is the only way to upload and share clips that you recorded from Xbox or Xbox on
    Windows 10.

    As of right now, I don't think there is a way to convert or transfer your recorded files that are captured using your internal graphics card. All clips are captured using the Game DVR feature and then edited and shared from Upload Studio.
