Easy fix for Network Complications (Issue Resolved)

Hi friends,

Yesterday I was fixing this issue for around 4 1/2 hours, and, of course, it was a relatively easy fix when I talked to the right person. My issue: After the update, my system crashed. I was connected to the internet, and I could access my account, but I
couldn't really do anything online at all: no twitch, youtube, netflix, multiplayer, social: nothing. I was getting three different error messages:

• 0x87de2727
• 0x8000ffff
• 0x87c40131

The fix to this situation was to:

• Refresh the network settings
• Settings > Network > Advanced Settings > Alternate Mac Address > Clear > Restart
  

That fixed everything, but I'll post the steps the other tech support had me do as well.

First person I talked to had me do the following:

1. Check NAT (it was open)
2. Get in touch with my ISP to open up six different ports, and create a public IS address
   1. Ports: 88, 500, 3544, 4500 (UDP) | Port 80 (TCP) | Ports 3074 & 53 (UDP and TCP)
      
3. Clear Persistence Storage

It still wasn't connecting, and after that he stopped replying, so I contacted someone else. She had me:

1. Test multiplayer/networking connection (It came back fine and connected)
2. Check NAT (open with wired connection, strict with wifi connection)
3. Enable the DMZ
   1. by contacting my ISP, having her turn it off, which she did not recommend doing. The device would have been in a "Demilitarized Zone" which means it is susceptible to virus and other bad things.
      
   2. She did it anyway, for science, you understand. That still didn't work so,
4. Do an Offline System Update

I didn't do the Offline System Update, because I don't have a PC.

I don't know why this happened, buuut it did, and now it's fixed, so hopefully this helps someone?

holy fuck xbox fanboys are the worst. like im actually still getting long drawn out response trying to explain what i need to fix when the op clearly states all issues have been resolved I JUST SHOULDN'T HAVE HAD TO BECAUSE PLAYSTATION NEVER HAD THESE NETWORK COMPLICATIONS AND THAT SYSTEM ISN'T MADE BY A FUCKING OS SOFTWARE COMPANY
