Easy anti cheat games not launching on Gamepass

May I know if you already tried all the troubleshooting steps given by the other people in reddit?

In the meantime, do you know if your windows system or an program received an update recently?
Or is this the first time that you try to play game pass games?

I'm having the same exact issue with the game pass for pc. I downloaded Dead by Daylight and Back 4 Blood. Neither game would start after loading screen because they insisted I didn't have the proper licensing to own the games even though I know my game pass subscription had just renewed last week. I did double check by the way. I tried a few other games like the Pilot simulator and that one works fine. Maybe the download that is happening from the xbox game launcher is not the same edition of the game that the game pass allows players to play. For example when I do open the Dead by daylight the standard edition, it opens the prompt for the resident evil edition and when the system recognizes I haven't purchased that edition or its not on the game pass it comes up with a licensing error.

Did you manage to solve this issue? Was it about the lack of the latest updates? I try to keep my OS constantly updated, but I still get issues like this. According to this article on latesthackingnews.com, the world of online gaming is becoming more and more infiltrated by cheaters, and that’s why we have to be more careful. Uploading all the recent updates is one of the ways of keeping yourself safe because windows contain defending tools that can do some basic protection.
Also, where can I read more about these anti-cheat games? Is it a real thing, and are they popular?
