Easy anti cheat causing system to lag/fps massive drop

I’m having an issue with running games with easy anti cheat. when I load into the game (Fortnite/the finals) after about 5 minutes of being loaded in wether I’m in a match or just in the main lobby my entire system bogs out (gpu and cpu usage completely plummet) this will last for 1-2minutes and jump right back to normal. no other games do this on my system only the ones who use easy anti cheat. Can anyone help?
