Earthworm Jim HD... can't download

I have an Xbox 360 super elite console registered through the xbox store. When I choose "Install on my device" for the game Earthworm Jim HD, I get the message: "It looks like you don’t have any applicable device(s)
linked to your Microsoft account."

When I search using the Xbox services, Earthworm Jim HD doesn't seem to even show up anywhere. I've purchased, downloaded and played this on another device I own, so this is entirely unusual and seems broken.

How can I play my game on my Xbox 360?

I own earthworm Jim HD, I understand that it is delisted... but I do own it but I can no longer download it.

First, you will need to re-download the game via your X360 console. See this link on how to re-download previously purchased content:

https://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-360/store/redownload-content

Earthworm Jim HD was delisted, as of February this year, so will no longer be available to purchase via the Xbox Live Marketplace. If you had purchased the game before the delisting, you will be able to re-download it via the above method.

Thanks for the link, I have now tried each of the listed methods. When looking at previous downloads, I can find Earthworm Jim HD, but I get an error code: 800700E8 . This is despite all the other services working fine.

When I use Purchase History (a link from the support page you cited) on a browser, I cannot find Earthworm Jim HD.

When searching the store on a browser, I can find Earthworm Jim, it says "You own this game." but it says I don't have an applicable device. This is despite my Xbox 360 being listed as "Xbox 360 Super Elite Console".

If I look at my Microsoft Account I can see Earthworm Jim HD in my Order History. There is no link for downloading it there, though.

I would suggest following the steps there for resolution of the issue.

Yes, I tried the list of suggestions upon first encountering the issue. I power cycled the Xbox, I checked the network connection, I checked the store through a browser and I noted that Xbox Live was up amd running according to the support page blurb.

Could someone from Microsoft who owns Earthworm Jim HD try downloading it on an Xbox 360? I'm quite sure you will find the same issue.

If the game is still not loading up the way that it should, maybe rolling the updates for you console might be the way to go.

I would recommend trying to update your console using Solution 7 (it's the fastest one) on the page titled

Troubleshoot problems with an update to your Xbox 360 console.

Try that step out and let us know if it helped resolve the issue.

I will try updating again in a weeks time, but with the aggressive update policy required in order to use Xbox Live, I should have been current at the time. Has anyone tried this for themselves to prove the solution?

 

I've tried the suggested solution 7. As expected, nothing resulted. For whatever reason, Microsoft is currently only allowing this Xbox 360 Arcade title to be downloaded onto Xbox One (as reported on Twitter).
