Earth Defense Force: 2525

"Earth Defense Force: 2017" remains one of the greatest games ever released on the Xbox 360.



At first glance it looks terrible... until you realise... it's supposed to. They captured the "B Movie" feel perfectly.



The weapon variety was insane. The carnage was insane. The sequel... was farmed out to another developer and didn't do the original justice.



"Earth Defense Force: 2525" is made by the same guys who made 2017 and it's gonna be amazing.



This time with up to 4 player co op, who else is getting it?

Earth Needs You

"Earth Defense Force: 2017" is one of the greatest XBox 360 games ever made.

It looks terrible, almost basic, but this is contrived and fits it's "Science Fiction B Movie" style perfectly.

Tons of weapons. Tons of enemies. The ability to destroy everything. The game also offers possibly the greatest Split Screen experience on the XBox 360.

They made a sequel but palmed it of to a different developer and it was poor in comparisson to the original.

This Friday "Earth Defense Force: 2525" releases.

Made by the same developer who brought us the original 360 version.

Split screen fun is till there but you now have Online Co-Op for up to 4 players against the Alien hordes.

Not keen on the view of that gun, just seems too static. Wonder if we'll get an updated Earth Defence Force this gen...

This is the first EDF I'll be missing, I want to pick it up eventually but the price and timing is just wrong for me.
