Early Xbox One Turtle Beach buyers...

hey folks. Im not sure if this is common knowledge, but if you contact Turtle beach support and tell them you bought one of their headsets that came with the official headset adaptor. They will send you the Turtle Beach adaptor as a replacement. Reasons
for doing so is that mic monitoring is enabled on the new ones I received mine today 6 days after my initial email to support. Just thought I'd let you all know

No, Turtle Beaches for 360 will not work with the Xbox One. There will be new headsets coming out early next year specifically designed for the Xbox One.

Thanks for the info, I bought XP400's but will contact to see if I can purchase one as the monitoring is rubbish on the XO1, and my other half would like it sorted.

Gutted, I bought the XO4's when they first launched and got rid of them due to the mic monitoring issue lol.

 

That's a shame Reidzer. I also bought the XO4's, its when my brother bought a set that I found out he had the new adaptor. So I tried my luck. They didn't even charge me!! Have to say that all the good things you hear about Turtle Beach customer support
being one of the best is true in my experience

EDIT - @Enen The pad adaptor you receive will be the same as the one that comes with the XOones. Which I also have a set of, why do you think the monitoring is bad? works great for me, on both headsets.

 

I simply can't hear myself when I am gaming, if I am sat at the dashboard and put the mic near my mouth an listen I can hear myself but only just on max volume, when I play a game the mic volume doesn't adjust for the game sound so I can't hear myself, hence
no mic monitoring (and an unhappy happy family trying to sleep)
