    EARLY EXPIRATION DATE


    2016-05-24 I paid 12-month Xbox Live Gold. Now I got a message that the expiration date is 2017-04-13 which does not sound reasonable to me. It would mean that I paid for 12 months but only got 10 months and about 3 weeks. Why do i lose my gold over 1 month
    earlier then what I have paid for?

    First off, I apologize if creating a new thread is not the proper way to go about reporting this issue with my profile, but I have read through the sticky and a few other members' threads to see if any of their solutions worked for me. After a few days of
    trying the methods provided like the following: clearing cache, deleting profile, powering down console, redownloading profile, etc., my Xbox LIVE Gold tenure still displays a "7" when it should be a "10".



    I honestly cannot remember when I noticed the issue and whether or not it was before or after the 25th of January, but after going to following link (Sign in to your Microsoft account) I can confirm
    that my membership has been of the Gold status longer than the currently displayed "7". Here's a summary of my billing with the dates if that is helpful in any way:

    My Xbox LIVE Gold subscription has continually ran with no interruption (going to Silver status), though I had used a couple of free month cards here and there from games I had purchased. I understood that using them on an already active Gold account would
    simply extend the expiration date time, but is that maybe what's causing the problem for my profile?

    Xbox Live Gold membership premature expiry date.

    You can check your account at
    https://billing.microsoft.com     to see what was entered and to check the dates there. But you'll need to call support if there is an issue with your gold expiring early.

    There is no expiration date on the back of the card. The Xbox staff @E3 also did not mention an expiration date and made it sound as though there was no expiration date, or at least any expiration date soon. Honestly, I am extremely mad @Xbox and @Microsoft
    for having expiration dates in the first place. Additionally, having expiration dates when there is no mention of an expiration date on the card? There should be an internal investigation on why no dates where noted on the cards and those with expired cards
    from E3, with proper verification of an expired card from E3, should be given another code to use.

    Go the My games & apps.

    On the left hand side go down to Memberships.

    Just go to the Xbox Gold Membership.

    Go into that and your expire date should show there where close the where you can redeem codes or buy subscription again.
