Early Digital Release?

So WWE2K16 releases on the 27th October in USA but on the 30th in the UK. If I buy it digitally will I have to wait til the 30th? Also would buying it with an American Locale change that?

Changing location is against XBOX LIVE terms of use.

 

I think depends on the publisher. You maybe able to predownload it but not play it.

 

Changing locale and risking a ban is not worth it for 3 days.

I agree though that it is annoying.

I just don't understand why all games can't release the same time globally.

Although I suspect it's probably shops like GAME that control release dates. They probably like all games to be released on a Friday for some reason

 

Actually you can blame Dixons for Friday releases in the U.K.

It's ironic that games are released on fridays because of a shop that no longer exists. I know Currys owned them but they are not exactly a game specialist. I know I wouldn't even think of buying games from there.

If games like Halo 5 and Fallout 4 can get global release dates then I can't see why they can't extend it to all games.
