Early adopters

It seems like you've spit in the face of all your early adopters. Is there going to be done maybe as a courtesy to those of us that paid full price for games that y'all dropped within three months? Or maybe to make up for the fact that your giving away Titanfall
and Forza for free now? I'm just curious between my 2 xbox accounts I've been with Microsoft for a while but now I'm seriously considering switching to Sony.

PS when are we going to get Games with Gold?

Which is pretty much how early adoption has worked for every piece of new technology ever released in recent memory.

Early adopters pay full price. Early adopters are subject to bugs and other facets of the technology that doesn't work as advertised/expected. In return, early adopters get to use the technology on the first day it's made available.

This is the way it works. This is the way it has always worked. The complaining about this makes no sense at all.

 

That's the way it is with most consumer electronic releases. As the life of the product moves forward they will add perks, games, or whatever to get the attention of new consumers. As an early adopter you should expect this they aren't really spitting in
anyone's face. Sony will do the same thing they all do unique consoles and bundles.

Games with gold is coming later this year.

 

I think all early adopters should get a free digital copy of Forza 5 or Titanfall so it can be in equal footing with everyone else or Early adopters like myself should be able to call 1 800 4my XBOX and have Microsoft ship us a 1st party game of our choice
like Ryse Son of Rome or the full version of Killer Instinct.

I know this might hurt Microsoft since there are 5 million of us out there but if they don't do this don't expect people to buy your XBOX2 or whatever you're going to call it in the future as an early adopter. I sound like a broken record but we need two
very important features badly. One is we need "LOCAL MEDIA PLAYBACK" on Xbox One so we can listen to our ipod and rip our own music to Xbox One while playing games at the same time like we do on original xbox and xbox 360 and we NEED External "HARD DRIVE
SUPPORT". I think they should do this in the May Update and Launch all these cool things on Memorial Day to honor both Veterans like myself as well as Early Adopters of the Xbox One. If Microsoft does this I think it will be a very good Holiday Weekend. Last
but not least ship out free Xbox Ones to all Military bases in Afghanistan and watch Soldiers alone log in more time on Xbox Live than any other group during their free time.

 

As an early adopter you got the benefit of having first access to Xbox One and the games it came with.

Microsoft have announced they have no plans to "compensate" early adopters. As I2ndShenanigans mentioned, it is typical with electronics that things change shortly after launch and being an early adopter is accepting that by buying up front.

Games With Gold for Xbox One is due in June.
