    eArc not working as it should...


    Recently my eArc has been acting all funny... I have an LG CX and Samsung Q900A. Every time I turn my TV off the soundbar turns off as well (Like it should do). Then 2 seconds later it switches back on along with the TV on it's own... When I disable the eArc feature on the Xbox it behaves as it should. Anyone else experiencing any trouble with this?

    Connecting series x, LG CX, and Vizio 5.1.2 Dolby Atmos

    The LG CX has eARC (HDMI port 2) so I would use this to the soundbar for audio. Connect the Xbox directly to the TV. That way you should get all the features working as normal.

    It's a visio m558 -f1 not real sure if it will except Earc even on my dolby atmos receiver onkyo txnr575 does it make difference on the hdmi cables dont they just work as a regular cable or does everything have to be Earc

    Another XSX Dolby Atmos sound delay post. . .

    After a lot of test, to solve it i plug xbox on my lg cx with option sync AV arc bypass and activate earc with my denon 1600h.

    If earc is off there is a big audio delay but my denon receive an atmos emulated (pcm) for all game, If earc on no delay atmos OK on halo, forza etc... But no atmos on ubisoft game same as farcry 6.

    Ubisoft game not really atmos but a dolby 7.1 sound ?

    My conclusion If xbox use dolby atmos emulation or no earc there is a delay, if earc activate no delay but only atmos with game compatible

    Xbox Series X 4K not working on Samsung Frame TV with AVR

    An HDMi repeater takes one signal and sends it out through two outputs on the box

    one goes to the 4K, one to the EARC

    It doesn't always work, depending on hardware, but it should run you under $20 on amazon to try.

    The first 3D players had two outputs for this reason
