EA Subscription Based Access ~ $4.99/Mnth Access to Vault XB1 Exclusive

-@Fatalshock - It's not £30 in the UK it's only £19.99 a year! This is the first time I've ever seen a UK price the same as the US. Ms and EA really want to make a good impression with this!

Well colour me fatal shocked, that's a nice surprise. I just got Premium for BF4 for only £26.79 as well! It's all coming up EA at the moment, and the more we get to hog their good side, the better for Xbox as a whole.

 

Oh yeah, I just noticed my Ms account funds are there but grayed out as an option. Maybe when it launches fully it will work.

 

MS money will mot likely never work. It is a subscription with recurring payments that would need a source of funds. The MS money is one and done.. sort of like cash. BUT you can buy codes for it at gamestop etc

 

Although I've never trusted EA to do right by customers, and always assume there will be another shoe, right now, this is a bargain by anyone's standards. For $30 a year, you can have access to a bunch of different games, as well as the other perks. I
have a regular bunch of friends who would probably jump on this, just for access to the different sports games that we never buy, but would play if they were basically free to a group.

It's Neflix for gaming, pure and simple. For anyone who wants to wait out the new release window, they can have access to a core of games for a regular budget. You want to know the catch? It's the same one EA has employed forever. Put games in the hands
of people arriving late to the party, and prey on their competitive instincts. Tired of getting pwned in NHL 15 by people who have had the game since launch? Here's a handy boost pack. Same for Battlefield, Fifa, Madden...it's brilliant marketing, really.

 

Is the discounts for the entire console or just the gamertag linked to the account?

 

since it is a subscription it is based off the gamertag, not the console

but with all of the blunders that EA has done, I wouldn't subscribe to it even at this price.

Yes, by making Dragon Age Origins 2 and NFS Carbon 2 or NFS Underground 3.

For £20 a year it is an absolute steal !!

 

I agree...it cost's next to nothing and even if you only like 2 or 3 of the games in the vault, it's worth the cost.
