EA Access is great but that timer is horrible. You want to play but you know it's just ticking down in the background lol

Still can't believe just how good this game looks. Easily the best MP looking title I've seen on a console and the sound is probably the best I've heard in a game. Star War fans will know what I mean, they got everything spot on in my opinion.

 

Got to be the Millenium Falcon this morning Prefer Slave 1 though.

I see they've changed some things in Walker Assault which is a shame as it was fine the way it was.

 

What have they changed Badger?

 

I normally never play SP, but that will change since I just bought Fallout 4.

 

It now highlights the vunerable parts on the ATAT when the rebels can damage them & the timer on the heroes is no longer there but I think that's across all modes with heroes in.

Every time I've got the Falcon or Slave 1 in Fighter Squadron I've never died & always am top of the leaderboard,apart form that one time I crashed into the shuttle I was trying to protect :-/

It's still brilliant fun & it is hard for the Rebels to win on Walker Assault if you don't all work together but it has been nerfed a bit.

 

Finally got to have a little go of my trial this morning. The game is incredible fun!!

I will say though that those new to the game will have a hard time, I'm obviously a bit late to the trial and it showed, I really struggled for the first few levels until I got some weapons. Once I had a few I was well away, even topped my team a few times!

I think the imperial heroes are better by far though and could do with some balancing, as Luke I tend to not last long at all but Vadar is a beast

I know it's sad to say but I honestly don't think Fallout will get much of a look in once this is out for me.

 

I'm useless with both Luke and Vader, but I've found Palpatine to be the best one to use.

Saw that earlier Badger, 16 maps is pretty decent, that's probably my only complaint about the game at the moment - the main modes I like (supremacy and walker) assault are a bit light on maps.

 

Someone refresh my memory. The season pass is $50?

 

^^ Yes, they've cut maps out now, to sell later. The stuff Badger just highlighted does not seem like it's worth €50.00 in my opinion. €69.00 + €50.00 to play the full game? Hell no, and not buying.

I don't like games without SP.

 

I've seen a lot worse when it comes to what you get in a season pass but it does make you wonder what or if half of that stuff was left out of the main game to sell later.

If it was stuff from The Force Awakens I could understand it but they are saying this is more original trilogy stuff.

Other than Chewie what other heroes/villains are there? Can't see an old Obi-Wan being there & Yoda didn't really do much in the original trilogy.Villain wise there isn't much to pick from either,maybe a Red Guard or bounty hunters but can't see that either.

 

this game is literally amazing - best fun ive had in MP in a long time. Fighter squadron or whatever its called is a blast but far too easy imo, you can literally rack up kills and hardly die!

 

Re the whole season pass thing, I've said this before, in the UK at least, the price I pay for my games has been pretty consistent all through the life of the 360 to current day which is what 10yrs? Now there is not a lot else in my life I'm paying the same
price as 10 yrs ago, developers are a business, not a charity to gamers, DLC is how they make their money these days, it either that or I can see them raise the cost of each game release by £20 and I personally would much rather they keep the base game price
consistent and let me make the choice to pay for any DLC based on the quality of the game.

If I enjoy a game then yep I will pay extra money to enjoy the game more, the DLC packs for BF4 are great, and I would hazard a guess these will be quality too.

 

^^ You're lucky game prices have been the same. Here in Ireland they are not. Last gen games were €59.99 on average now they are €69.00 to €74.99.

There are more gamers now than ever. Selling the games for the same cost as before is not going to hurt them. What's better, selling 1 million copies of a game (less gamers) at €59.99 or selling 6 million copies (more gamers) at €59.99.They see people buying
DLC and overpriced DLC without a thought in the world so they will keep charging more and more and cutting out more and more until gamers say enough is enough.

Not just hating on this game, but they are taking the mickey out of people by charging €50.00.
