EA Sports UFC demo confirmed

I wish they would scrap the UFC series and go back to fight night. Im not the biggest MMA fan, the games seemed to go like

Roll around on the flor for 3 minutes then bam, your knocked out.

A few sites I follow/read have been talking that there is another Fight Night on the way, some say it will be released in 2014.

I hope it's true, like you I much prefer the Fight Night series.

 

I really hope your right Lofty. Now if there was ever a game that i would buy a console for, that would be it.

Huge UFC/MMA fan the fact Bruce Lee has been added to the game is the icing on the cake.

According to the official EA UFC website Lee will be unlocked after beating career mode on pro difficulty or higher and be available in four weight classes Flyweight, Bantamweight, Featherweight and Lightweight.

Can't wait to see how he would pair up against the likes of Renan Barao, Demetrious Johnson, Jose Aldo, Frankie Edgar or Uriajh Faber. I'm sorry I've got so many possible match-ups in my head right forget the demo I want the full release.

I've been on the official site again and I really need to read things fully and not skim the facts, lol.

I can't get my noggin around the fact that if you pre order you can unlock Lee day one if you play through career mode you unlock Lee anyway, is there any real incentive to pre order or am I just missing something ?

 

From what I've read and I could be wrong but it looks like the only incentive to pre order is that you get Bruce Lee on day one like you said.

This game looks ugly.

The footage they've got on the marketplace looks awful.

They could all be "Doctor Who" villains: "Attack Of The Plastic Men".

Let's hope the Demo looks NOTHING like the rubber bodies we've been shown so far or we'll all be sufferning from a "Last Gen Headache".

 

Nothing wrong with the models. Animations looks smooth and fluid compared to THQ's previous efforts... Then again Az, you prefer that dying sport of boring... I mean boxing.



EA Sports UFC will not be an annual title (previously mentioned as a possibility by Electronic Arts CEO Andrew Wilson). The second installment is scheduled to arrive in 18 to 22 months. However, there will be plenty of free DLC roster updates coming for
EA Sports UFC, according to Creative Director Brian Hayes.

- Shame Tito won't be in this game. I think the relationship between him and Dana is over for good this time. I admit he can be quite the 'dummy spitting' type, but he's still the man!
