    EA Server Disconnects every 30 minutes


    I have been getting EA server disconnect errors in the middle of games. I noticed it happens 30 minutes after first logging into the server. Sometimes the game just lags at the 30 minute mark for a few seconds then continues, but at 60 minutes, I will
    get disconnected. Anyone have any thoughts on what could be causing this. I have tested my network connections, changed the firewall settings for DMZ on the xbox0ne, and gone through the support pages looking for a solution and nothing has worked. Sort
    of a pain to trouble shoot this because I have to change something then play for 30 minutes to see if that change made a difference or not. I have not seen this issue on the other games that the kids play, just Battlefront.

    Hi,

    I am not sure if this a broadband speed issue to be honest, the EA servers disconnect me after several minutes. This has been happening since we got the game on the 2nd of feb.

    Are you using a WiFi connection with the console? Have you tried to connect to the router with an ethernet cable?

    have same problem. other games work fine, but sea of thieves always disconnected only from xbox live after 15-30 minutes.

    Got the same problem. I noticed it only on SoT. Frustrating as I lost 20k Gold already :-( Playing over Wifi (all other games, incl. PC games, work great with no issues).

    I finally found a workaround. I am using Wifi for all connections. A couple of days ago, I restarted my Xbox One (1 TB model, roughly 18 months old) and didn't havethe issue. Since I was using the always on power setting, I disabled it (means: my Xbox is
    doing a full shutdown when I say "Turn off"). Since then, I have not encountered a single disconnect from Xbox Live / SoT. I suspect the Wifi driver or the network stack of the Xbox being buggy when it comes to power saving or reactivation from standby. Hope
