EA explains why the BF4 Launch was so bad

What a load of fecal matter. There's no excuse for releasing a completely broken game and allowing it to stay broken for several months after release.

 

Ill agree with Burnin. Pre-orders are really messing up how gamers perceive games. I mean, it is not all bad but look at Dying light. Still have it preordered from months ago. Atm only pre I have out is Destiny (I just put $5 down to get the beta key and
waiting to see what happens).

 

All that really needs to be said about E.A..

I've said it before, and I'll say it again...if this was any other arm of the retail sector, products like this would simply be declared defective, and people would be able to get their money back en masse. I've been down this road too many times with games,
and now I wait to see what kind of shape they arrive in. Pre-orders be damned.....

That was the first BF game I bought and I really liked it for the day it worked. I'll never buy a game from Dice or a BF game again.

 

Nothing wrong with preordering from retailers for a console game, if a game gets lots of hype & then gets bad reviews, no one needs to pick it up and the retailers sit on them, won't get anymore and eventually go on sale.

The blame should be put on the reviewers, I don't recall any reviews swaying me or my friends away from it.

I had to use the game for a few days to realize how bad it actually was.

 

So now instead of continuing to work on bf4. They are gonna try to get us to pay 60 for hardline. Ive been playing the beta and it is fun but all it is is bf4 with a cops and robbers skin. Hardline should be an addon to bf4 IMO.

 

bf4 is fine when it works, but it still has a good amount of pronlems 8 months after the games launch. if you ask me, i blame dice as well. there is no reason a game 8 months after launch still has problems. i played the battlefield hardlines beta, its worse
than bf4. by far the worst battlefield game. i am not getting another battlefield game. bf4 ruined the franchise and hardline killed it

 

Well, Hardline's still in beta, so of course it's going to have issues... As for BF4, I can see why everyone's upset, but I still think they've come a long way from what it was (sadly, it's still broken in many respects though).

I find it funny many of you say you played it for a time before realizing something was wrong:

"Hey, this game is awesome!"

*reads bad reviews about game*

"This game is terribad!"

*8 months later; gives the game another go*

"O... M... G... I'm never buying from EA ever again!"

*throws down controller in contempt*

*EA releases more games*

"I wish I had more games to play..."

*cries*

 

I'm a big Battlefield fan and while BF4 was a broken game, it was a lot of fun when it worked (once in a blue room). I've got to admit that I'm interested in the game, I'm a big suckar for police games and I found the beta a lot
of fun. Yes, it's basically BF4 with cops and robbers, but I didn't get to play BF4 much, so this game will feel fresh for me.

EA are a bunch of ...., and if they weren't the publishers behind a lot of games that I love I would have stopped buying their products a long time ago.
