    EA content listed in Xbox app for PC


    initially was having difficulty with the Xbox app for PC connecting with the EA Desktop app, but Mario helped me get that sorted

    Now I see that the game I wanted "is not available in your region"!!!

    For God's sake Microsoft, surely the content I see on my Xbox app for PC is what is available in my region?

    Microsoft know where I am located and surely they have must have some way of cross-checking what is available in each region via a 3rd party app with which they connect?

    That should merely be a bug if it is showing up on the list of games!

    Cannot download any EA game from game pass

    Thank you for contacting the Xbox Forums! I am sorry to hear that you are struggling with accessing EA Games through the Xbox App.

    I was unable to reproduce your issue, so I have escalated this post.

    The steps that I took to reproduce this problem were as follows:

    1. Uninstalled my current EA App and all EA content from my computer
    2. Opened the Xbox App on my PC and confirmed I was signed into the correct account
    3. Searched for an EA game, like "Battlefield" in the search bar at the top
    4. Clicked the link "Searching for an EA game? Click here to view EA Play games in PC Game Pass"
    5. Installed EA App from this page
    6. When app was installed, I clicked "Explore the EA App"
    7. Within the EA App, I was able to search and download any EA Game

    Can you try this:

    • Uninstall both the EA Desktop and the Xbox app
    • Restart your PC
    • Install the Xbox app
    • Install the EA Desktop app through the Xbox app

    I bought a game on a xbox.com website but I can't install it.

    you can only get that game for pc from EA, Steam or GOG.

    ask for a refund

    the reason you sometimes see it listed in gamepass on pc is due to EA access being available as part of the sub, it basically downloads the games via the EA app and starts it via the EA app.

    purchasing ea play on pc is through ea app or via steam, if you have ultimate gamepass on xbox then you get access to ea play on the ea app on pc if the accounts are linked.

    if you only have ea play on xbox then you need a separate sub for ea play with the ea app or steam.
