EA Access

I've received my preview invite, but it's in 'pending' status. How long does it take for me to get accepted?

 

@Jambo. Same here, I did use to sell and buy game's on eBay at one point. Most people people don't want to wait though.

 

This is good. I will use it. EA has a great library of games.

I've already signed up, but would prefer prepaid codes. Hope they add them in the near future.

 

Why can't I use Microsoft money (xbox balance basically) to buy a subscription to EA Access? I've got credit that I'd like to use!

 

Keeping it real when I say. Great marketing and business tactic by EA. I for one will buy into this as I do not love bf anything but for the advertised price I will occasionally hop online and offline and not feel cheated after spending 60 or so dollars
on a coaster. Now where EA will possibly make it or be broken is in DLC and microtransaction profits. That's where EA is really hoping that the real money comes from. Can wait to get my x1 again so I can take advantage of these Microsoft and gaming development
company partnerships.

 

Cool thing about Early Access for the game is you actually get Achievements. I played Madden the 6 hours it was free and got a bunch of them

 

Was great to get it with the Madden 16 bundle. Didn't realize I had access to all of those games until I actually installed the app. Nice feature EA.

 

EA access is to slow to dump new games in the vault. Reason why I didn't bother paying for subscription. Time they drop games we could of caught a sale of the same EA title 50% off or buy the disc used dirt cheap second hand.

 

Even with EA games on sale I still think you'd pay in the region of £150 for a disc version of all the games in their vault. If you bought just Dragon Age it would cost more than an entire years subscription of EA Access (Dragon Age is currently £27 on Amazon).

The problem I think is that pretty much all of their current gen games are already now in the vault, so there isn't going to be a great deal to add to it over the next 6 months or so.

I still think it's great value at the moment, and I personally am pleased at the speed in which games have been added.

 

Yeah EA access is great value for someone that just bought XBOX1 and has no games and only $30 for EA Access. But I already had NBA Live 15 digital for $7 and BF4 for $20 last year. Yeah I could of bought Titanfall for like $10 when it was on sale. But
didn't. I bought BF Hardline digital right away when it came out. Also how does EA access go if you subscribed for a year or so then cancel? Lose every game from previous years? That be grim like losing XBOX LIVE gold. Also to that poster saying we can
use money already on our account? We cant? How we paid credit card? I don't like having credit cards on my XBOX1. Don't have none on mine. I buy redeem codes instead.
