EA ACCESS

Microsoft what are you thinking this is stupid. If I'm reading this correctly the only good thing we are going to get out of this program is discounts to DLC and early access to games. I was going to get Battlefield 4, Titanfall (which I have for Xbox 360)
and (as a star wars fan) the highly anticipated Star Wars Battlefront, Now there are other games coming out that is better and don't have a subscription program like Destiny, Halo: the master chief collection and sunset overdrive, my opinion on why there doing
this is because some people thought that battlefield 4 was broken and they needed to find away to get there money back now if I were you I would change my mind and tell them to stop and we don't need your stupid subscription program.

Sounds like a brilliant scheme to me, especially as your not locked into a years subscription. Im not interested in sports titles, but I would pay £3.99 to play BF for a month. @Joeywarfighter Destiny does not have a subscription program! I think you
need to read the terms again its not a subscription you pay on top of paying for games.

 

I paid for a years sub yesterday, already downloaded Battlefield and Madden ( already have fifa and peggle ) so already made my money back So anything they add to the vault after the beta is a bonus now

 

It does sound a good idea, wouldnt surprise me if the big three publushers (EA, Activision and Ubi) all do something similar. I know there's a UPlay app already on xboxone.

Now if someone would like to invite me to the preview program so i can sample this i'd be much obliged.

I take my hat off to EA because it's a great idea which I never saw coming. I only bought a months subscription just in case there was limitations or no achievements but I'll be renewing for a year next month. Downloaded Peggle and FiFA with BF4 to maybe
download over the weekend... I already feel as though I've had my £3.99 worth. Looking forward to the Vault rotation and early access too.

 

I said this in the other thread but I agree, its a great scheme. To say its costs about as much as a season pass then its a bargain in my opinion for access to games like that. I will invest in due course

When EA change the rotation of offered games do you lose the right to play downloaded games such as BF4? Or is it similar to Games with Gold and PS+ and you can continue to play for as long as you subscribe.

Not sure on that one Slaphead mate. I would of thought that maybe they would at the least have a period of time. I mean if someone pays to play BF4 and its due to expire the next day, I would hope that the user has a full year to play them as per the sub
but when the sub runs out, and they renew, they cant play it anymore. If that makes sense? That's just a guess.

Pingu, I will work out how to invite and sort it for you bro. I know very little about how this works. I literally just get the pre-release updates and my knowledge limits there lol

 

I'm hoping it's the same principle as PS+ and GWG and you get to play for as long as you still subscribe, soon find out when they change the games
