EA Access wont let me play game I already owned

I had an EA Access free trial code that expired, but after it did, the game Mirrors Edge, which I got back when it was availible for games with gold, now wont let me play it

EA Getting Rid of Online Passes

for all those saying EA are doing this because the nextbox wont allow pre-owned games, well the ps4 has been confirmed to play pre-owned and im sure EA release games for them aswell??

Same for me. Wont let me play since the update but I own the game for months now. Wants me to purchase the game again.

I think this is EAs fault for introducing the new trial!

they arent making you buy it to play a game you already own, the ea access is for extra stuff if you dont have a season pass for the game or something along the line. i play battlefiled 1 4 and 5 but if it wasnt for ea access id have spent alot more on
the season passes.

What games are they letting you play without a disc... Could be 1 or 2 things... You have EA access and are playing EA games.. therefore EA access gave you digital rights so you no longer need the disc...

or

You are home gold sharing with someone who owns the game digitally... therefore giving you digital rights
