    EA Access Won't Accept My Paypal


    Hi all,

    I got EA Access beta code which I redeemed. However, I am not in the XBOX One Dashboard preview program.

    I have tried multiple times, via the EA Access app, to buy a year subscription fee, but every time I tried, I get this message: "Your purchase can't be completed with this payment option. Try a different or new way to pay"

    I have been using my paypal account to buy games and it's just work fine except with EA Access app!

    could someone have any possible solutions?

    Pre paid microsoft codes should be able to buy anything

    It needs to be a credit card or paypal as it's a recurring payment

    Where did you get the code from? From what I hear it was available only to those in the preview program. If you got the code from someone else then perhaps this would be the reason it does not work. Either that or it needs all the dashboard updates.

    No, it's just work fine.

    What I did, I put another credit card on my account and boom !

    I subscribed for 1 year!

    Case solved.

    What payment methods can I use to purchase EA Access membership?

    At the moment, we can only accept credit card and PayPal payments for EA Access membership.

    I used a payment option "use a code" for EA Access. I put $30 in my account when I did that.

    This is listed in the FAQ that is on that page:

    Anything that is purchased from a third party (Netflix, Hulu, EA Access, etc.) cannot be paid for with Microsoft currency since you're not paying Microsoft.

    "Use A Different Way To Pay"

    EA Access uses Paypal (for some regions) or a Credit Card only. It will not accept currency.

    I'm not sure when it will be available but as some point in the future you'll be able to purchase membership cards from your local game retailer.
