EA Access Won't Accept Credit Card On File (Any Other Ways To Pay)?

Fellow XBOX Family,

I am in the XBOX One Dashboard preview program. This led to me getting a message from XBOX for the EA Access beta which I redeemed. I have tried multiple times, via the EA Access app, to buy the $29.99 yearly subscription fee. Yesterday and just now combined
I've probably spent 4 hours in various chats with my bank, Microsoft, and EA.

The error message I'm getting is:

"Your purchase can't be completed with this payment option. Try a different or new way to pay." (Sometimes it'd give an authorization error but it'll flip back and forth)

In the bottom right hand corner is the following:

My bank says: Your card is fine check with Microsoft

Microsoft says: We don't know. (End up doing various hard resets and resetting MAC address which do nothing) They end up submitting a ticket to the "highest tiered team" which they call the Advocacy Team

EA Says: Both times the rep had no idea what EA Access was and the most recent person said it's not released for XBOX One yet...so nobody there really knew there was a beta or what was going on.

This particular card recently purchased Peggle 2 and Powerstar Golf through the XBOX One console and works just fine getting food and gas so I know it's fine. I even deleted the card and added it again with the same error message. When I Google that PBR9002
error it shows up as some PayPal error but I'm using a MasterCard. I do not have any other credit cards and Microsoft said I can't use a prepaid or gift card to pay for EA Access. I know they will sell subscription cards in the future at stores but I'm looking
to either fix this card to pay another way now so I can enjoy some games and the fruits of being a Preview member and the early access beta.

So having said all that has anyone else experienced this same problem or know of any possible solutions? I would love to know if anyone has any insight as my bank, EA, and Microsoft aren't able to help much at this time.

EA Access

I can't pay past due for EA Access because I don't have any other ways to pay.

 

Can't use Xbox credit to subscribe to EA Access

Currently I don't have C/C (waiting for a new one, long story), so I bought a 30.00 xbox (or microsoft) credit from EB Games so I can subscribe to EA Access. Unfortunately, It won't accept any xbox credit (or whatever its called). Is there a way to use
xbox credit? or do I have to wait until I get my new credit card?

 

Yes I'm in the same boat as you, used two different credit cards and as well a pre paid one I had around as well paypal nothing seems to wrk I hope tmr after wrk it works. Let me know if you get it to wrk or found a way.

After looking around and going back to Microsoft Chat again here's what was confirmed:

"Correct, it is under a 'Risk Block'. The block was placed by our Billing Department, and not by your bank. It's part of our random sweeps on every account. Sometimes, the system goes too much in protecting accounts, that it blocks good cards from making
purchases, even if it is authorized or has no connection with anything fraudulent."

So apparently it's some random security thing on Microsoft's end. Chat rep said the Advocacy Team are the only people who can lift Risk Blocks so I really do just have to wait it out. So if you might want to call or chat and ask to verify if you're under
Risk Block and if so put in a request for Advocacy Team to remove it for you and wait it out.

 

I've been tweeting xbox support but still no help.
