EA Access saying inactive.

Hi,

I just renewed for another year with EA Access but when I go to the app on the XB1 it says my account is inactive - even though if I go to my account on the app it says I have a 12 month subscription.

I have done some reading around and have tried a hard reboot - I only have one account on the machine itself so it's not that.

Does anyone have any ideas ?

Unfortunally, Live Gold subscrition only. No EA.

I used the same account for both subscritions

Just to clarify, you saw that your account have gold? As what it shows here, you're only on silver. For this one, I would recommend to contact support so they could check the status. Also, they could check the code and confirm what is the exact status there.
If they where able to determine that the code is not yet activated, then you might need to go back to the store where you bought it. Only the store where the code was sold can active it(supposedly, they should have activated it upon purchase).

 

Also, when I check my subscriptions it says 'EA Access 1 year Membership' renews on 6/27/2017

 

If a full hard reset, (hold the power button, pull out the cable and press the power button a few more times to remove anything else and then plug it back in, to power on) does not work, then try uninstalling the EA Application on the Console and Reinstalling
it.

Are you still able to access your EA benefits as if it was showing the Membership?

 

I have tried the hard reset (I also generally have the power settings on low when I switch the machine off) to no avail - same with reinstalling the app.

Wish there was a way of just emailing support. I'm guessing they don't visit these forums that much.

Oh and I cannot access any benefits, can't install anything can't use trials and I have the join now button visible towards the bottom of the screen.

Xbox support will redirect you to EA support.

I had a similar problem, last year.

There was a problem with the automatic renew not going through, and when I manually renewed it, a few weeks later, some computer error came back with it unpaid, even though I had paid.

Not sure if your problem is the same but EA support got it sorted, though.
