EA Access payed with Paypal but cant remove Paypal account after finished payment for 12 months

I want to remove my Paypal account from my son's MS account which he uses on Xbox One S.

Tonight i wanted to sign up a 12 months EA Access for my eldest boy. I thought Paypal would be a safe solution. So I filled in all the info needed to pay with Paypal but never realized before it was too late that it then was connected to his MS account.
I just wanted to make an easy transaction, not to sign up for all future payments in Xbox One Store. I tried to make the payment for just 12 months and closed the payment off so he can't use anymore, but when i tried to buy something in the Store i found my
Paypal still active on his account. If someone has an idea how to remove my Paypal from his account i would be very happy.

When i try to remove it it says "To keep your subscriptions going, switch to another payment option. We'll redirect so you can do that. When you're done, come back here." So it seems like i can't remove my Paypal unless i cange payment option to a card.
And it just goes in a loop. Back and forth all the time. Nothing seems to help so i wonder what to do.

Anyone have a suggestion on how to remove my Paypal? I have payed my 12 months subscription but i dont want to keep my Paypal active as an payment method. I want to avoid the possibility for my son to buy ingame accessories or games with my Paypal without
knowing he's using real money.

Cant delete payment option

Hallo.

I try to delete PayPal of payment options but it doesn't work....

I payed 12-months-xbox-gold-abonnement via PayPal.

Then I switched OFF automatically Payment, so my abonnement will end in 12 months now.

The abonnement is already payed, however I mustn't delete PayPal from the payment options?

It says its not allowed because PayPay is bound with an autmatically abonnement.

Thats not true, because it is switched OFF !?!

Is there a way to delete the PayPal payment option bevore the 12-month-abonnement ends?

 

How to Manage your Xbox LIVE payment options

Overview

You can choose to use more than one payment method for your Xbox LIVE account. The payment options include credit cards and PayPal accounts. You can use these payment options to buy items from Xbox LIVE Marketplace.

The 2-year Xbox LIVE Gold Contract uses only credit cards as the payment option. The other payment options like Debit Cards, Prepaid cards and PayPal are not valid for this subscription. However, you can change your payment to another credit card.

If it is before the end of the two years and there is no credit card associated with your account, it is assumed you have terminated the subscription, and you will be charged an Early Termination Fee and any applicable taxes.

It is easy to edit your payment options on your console or at Xbox.com

Steps to Follow

Add or change a payment option using your console

1) Use your Xbox LIVE gamertag to Sign in.

2) Proceed to Settings and then select Account.

3) Select Manage Payment Options, and then choose either of the following:

• If you want to add a new credit card, select Add Credit Card.
• If you want to use your PayPal account on Xbox LIVE, select Add PayPal. You will be required to enter your PayPal username and password. Follow the instructions to add PayPal as a payment option. You cannot use PayPal as a payment option for the 2 year Xbox LIVE Gold Contract. PayPal is not available in all regions.

4) After making changes to payment options, select Update Payment Option.

Add or Change a payment option on Xbox.com

1) Go to My Account.

2) Select Payments and Billings and click on Manage Payment Options.

3) You may be required to Sign in using your Microsoft account (email and password).

4) Proceed to do either of the following:

If you want to edit a payment option, select Edit.

If you want to add a payment option, you can do either of the following:

• Click on Add New Credit Card and enter the credit card information
• Click on PAY with PayPal and follow the instructions.
