EA Access offline and abroad

Hello,

I got my annual EA Access setup and I 'm about to sell my FIFA 14 disc. I 'm traveling on Thursday abroad for a month and while will have limited connection I was planning play FIFA with friends.

So my question are: If I have a UK Live account and an EA access on it, it should work abroad right? I used my UK Live account on vacations before fine. Also in case I won't have internet, do I have to be 24/7 online to play already downloaded EA vault games?

Can i buy EA Access yearly pass and download the vault games then play them all offline??

 

I am pretty sure anything you purchase using your gamertag/account follows you where your gamertag/account goes.

And EA games can be played offline (as long as the game permits it, obviously online career on FIFA will not work with no ONLINE available).

Not totally sure how EA access does their check in

 

You mean downloaded games can be played offline, right? I am double asking as a few games with Gold before (Guacamolee) need you to be online.

well GWG and EA access are 2 different things.

 

I played madden 25 offline yesterday. I dont know if there is a 24 hour check in I would assume there would be since I could pay 5 dollards download the games off the vault and cancel my subscription and get 4 games for 5 dollars.

 

I dont think internet is required for it. From the day of purchase $5 it times 30days i guess. Once the 30 day period is over it will either remind you to pay and use or just does not respond. I think it works same like our gold subscription which ends exactly
the day it should end.

 

No clue with vault mate, but when i goto store and check the vault games it just says play sooo dunno, try turnin ur internet off then boot up ur console and c if it works, have a good holiday m8, gl.

 

Hello all! Thanks for all your input. I got an official reply from EA, they said that internet is not needed at all after you downloaded the game without any check-ins.

@Tohellnbak: They are different in a sense, but the way EA Access appears to work at the moment, it lives completely within MS ecosystem -even the management page for your subscription is on your XBox Live account and not at EA servers.

@Trollface2 : Unfortunately I already packed the console and moved my tv, etc to the storage. Thanks for the wishes.
