    EA Access not working with games store


    hi all,

    I subscribed to xbox live and ea access to access fifa 16 for free through the ea access program.

    I downloaded the ea access hub. and then go it to check my account status and it does show it is active which is great.

    when I go into the vault and click on fifa 16 I get 2 options install now or view in store. I click install now and it takes me to the game in store but it still asks me to buy it rather than download it for free since I have ea access working.

    this issue is killing me for over 2 days with no resolution. anyone had the same issue before ?

    Help me please

    EA access is only working with special ea access gift cards which afaik are not released yet. Usual microsoft gift cards are NOT working!

    I cant buy anything for Xbox One

    I cant buy EA access and any of games in Microsoft Store. Xbox Live Gold and Game Pass working normally all the time.

    Yeah, no its not. The issue is with the Microsoft store not recognising the purchased content. Unless you're telling me that EA have direct access to the Microsoft store?

    EA may well be able to provide a code to redeem in order to unlock the Microsoft store version of the content but they wont have access to the Xbox store to access proof of purchase.

    This is not "in game" content, its purchased separately through the Microsoft store, not through an in game marketplace that EA are responsible for.

    EA access for the PC is called Origin Access. EA access is only for consoles.

    Thank you for posting on the Xbox forums.

    Any in-game store issues with FIFA 19 would need to be taken care of by EA support. The pre-order for FIFA 20 is available in the Microsoft Store with a 10% discount only if you have an active EA access subscription. Without the EA access subscription,
    the game will be full price.
