EA Access Information

Hi all,

I had a few question for EA about EA Access at the beginning of August. It took them over a month to reply, but I finally got my answers. I thought I would post it here in case it helped others.

Here's a quick update on what I've found so far. I signed up for 1 month just to see how it worked. I downloaded Peggle 2 as part of the program. This ran overnight. I did the signup and download under my account on the One. So, as a test this morning,
I made sure only my wife was signed into the One, and she was able to play Peggle 2 and even pop an achievement. Basically, after buying the EA Access, I just went to the store, and the game was listed as Free, so I just installed it locally. It seems to be
working very similarly to Games with Gold.

1. What happens to the games I downloaded if I let my EA Access subscription expire? I think the answer is that I would have to pay for them, just like Xbox's Deals with Gold.

A: "If your subscription expire then you should purchase the game to continue to play."

2. What happens if EA decides to pull a game that I am still playing from the Vault? Will I then have to go buy it to continue playing?

A: "If EA may decide to pull a game from Vault, in that case you should purchase the game to play it."

3. I understand that the "free trial" games will not automatically be part of the Vault. What happens if I buy the game elsewhere after the 5 day trial? For example, if I play Dragon Age: Inquisition as part of the 5 day early access, but I buy it from
GameStop. Will my progress still carry over?

A: "If you purchase the game from third party, still your progress will carry over."

4. Will pre-order bonuses be available? For example, pre-ordering from GameStop sometimes gives extra missions. Is there any way for EA Access program members to access that content? My assumption is no, we're getting the base game as part of the subscription
fee.

A: "Pre-order bonus available retailer specific."

5. Will achievements pop during the 5 day early access? If not, once the game is officially released, will all the achievements I should have gotten pop all at once? Or would I need to start over to get achievements after the official release?

A: "Your early access achievement and stats will carry over after gamer release."

6. I understand that DLC will need to be purchased separately and we'll get a 10% discount, but does the 10% discount also apply to Season Passes?

A: "I am not sure that would EA access give discount on Season passes. I would not prefer to given any assumption or incorrect information. So I will recommend you to please follow EA game forum and post your question there to get answer.

EA Access Hub App and The Vault

The EA Access Hub app is your one-stop shop to your monthly or yearly membership. Manage your membership, download games in The Vault and more, right on your Xbox One.

The Vault is an evolving selection of EA's Xbox One games that EA Access members can download and play while an active member. • During the beta, players will have unlimited access to four great EA games: FIFA 14, Madden NFL 25, Peggle 2 and Battlefield
4, with more titles being added soon.

• The amount of time before a game is added to The Vault will differ from title to title and you'll be able to play trials of new EA games five days before their release date.

• Like other games purchased digitally through the Xbox Games Store, once you have downloaded a game from The Vault to your hard drive, you can play offline on your home console as much as you like during your membership.

• Games will continue to be added to The Vault, and we currently have no plans to remove any game from The Vault, but we might not be able to keep games in The Vault forever. That said, you’ll be updated if and when a game is scheduled to leave The Vault. Before
games leave The Vault you can use your EA Access 10% discount to purchase them for your digital collection.

• If your membership expires, any purchases you make via the Xbox Games Store with your 10% discount are yours to keep. You won’t be able to play games in The Vault unless you reactivate your membership or buy them separately, but your progress and achievements

Thanks so much for the information , But if i may ask can i get titanfall from EA access for free and i still have it after EA access free week end right ? i'll just need to subscribe to EA Access so i can play it
